Server log files

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.
Declaration
Within our “Declaration” project, there is the possibility to join and sign the declaration yourself as a visitor. The relevant information can be filled in a form.
This data will not be evaluated by us in any way and will only be used to display your data in the list.
The e-mail address to be provided will only be used for the confirmation e-mail and for identification purposes should you decide at a later date to delete your list entry. All you need to do is send us an e-mail.
Processing of administrative and contribution data
We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to operate the website, respond to inquiries, administer voluntary financial contributions, fulfil legal obligations, or protect the website against misuse. Administrative records relating to contributions are retained only for as long as required for their respective purpose or by applicable accounting, tax and other statutory retention obligations.
Data transferred to service providers
We transmit personally identifiable data to service providers only to the extent required to operate the website, respond to requests, process voluntary financial contributions, provide requested functions, or comply with legal obligations.
Your data will not be transmitted for unrelated purposes unless you have given your permission or another legal basis applies. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties for their own advertising purposes without your consent.
4. Analytics
Matomo Analytics
Your privacy is very important to us, and we are committed to respecting and protecting it. For this reason, we use Matomo Analytics on our website.
Matomo is an open-source web analytics platform that enables us to understand better how our users interact with our website, which helps us improve its functionality and user experience.
No Matomo cookies
We have configured Matomo not to use cookies. Matomo therefore does not place analytics cookies on your device when you visit our website. The separate consent cookie used by our cookie banner is described in the cookie table above.
Anonymised Tracking
In line with our commitment to respect and protect your privacy, we have set Matomo to only track anonymised data. Matomo anonymises your IP address immediately after collection, ensuring no personal data about you is stored or processed. This anonymised data is solely used to analyse website usage trends, administer the website, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Individual browsing behavior cannot be tracked.
5. Plugins and tools
Forms
We use Ninja Forms, a WordPress plugin, to collect and process personal information through the forms on our website. The information you provide through these forms, such as your name, email address, and other requested details, is used solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiries and providing the requested services.
We take appropriate measures to protect the security and confidentiality of the information collected through Ninja Forms. Please note that by submitting personal information through these forms, you consent to its collection and use as outlined in this privacy policy.
YouTube
Our website uses plugins showing YouTube videos, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
For performance and data protection reasons, only the thumbnails of the corresponding videos are loaded when a page is loaded and no cookies are set or data transferred to Google. In order to watch the videos, you must first agree to the use of cookies.
If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used to help make our website appealing. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Languages
This website is available in several languages. We use the plugin “WPML”.
This website is configured so that no automatic redirection happens based on your browser language and so no cookies are set.
Firewall
The security plug-in “All In One WP Security & Firewall” from Tips and Tricks HQ is used to protect the website. This plug-in uses cookies to protect this website, through which user data such as your IP address can be collected. The data is stored anonymously on our servers and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. The data is not passed on to third parties.
Facebook feed
Under “Recently” the feed from our Facebook page is displayed. For this purpose the plugin “Custom Facebook Feed” from SmashBallon LLC, Smash Balloon LLC, Minneapolis, Minnesota is used.
The plugin is configured for privacy-conscious use, i.e. no cookies are set or data is transferred directly from or to Facebook.
6. Payment service providers
WhyDonate
We use the donation platform WhyDonate, operated by WhyDonate, Johan Huizingalaan 763A, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to receive voluntary financial contributions. The WhyDonate contribution form is available both within our freely accessible video archives and on our sponsor page.
All content and functions of our website remain available independently of a financial contribution. Contributions are voluntary, do not provide access to additional content or other benefits, and are not tax-deductible.
To protect your privacy, the WhyDonate form is not loaded automatically when you open a page. A connection to WhyDonate and its service providers is established only after you actively choose to open the contribution form.
When the form is opened and used, WhyDonate may process personal data including your name, email address, payment information, IP address, approximate location and technical information about your browser and device. WhyDonate uses this information to process contributions, send service messages, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. Unless a contribution is made anonymously, the fundraiser may receive the contributor’s name and email address.

Stripe
WhyDonate uses Stripe to process payments. When you proceed to the payment stage, the information required for the selected payment method is transmitted to Stripe and, where necessary, to the relevant bank, card issuer, wallet provider or other payment service provider.
Depending on the payment method, Stripe may process information including your name, contact details, payment details, transaction amount, order or transaction identifiers, IP address, device information and information required for fraud prevention and payment authentication. Payment data is processed by WhyDonate, Stripe and the respective payment provider and is not stored by us on this website.

hCaptcha and Cloudflare
The WhyDonate form uses hCaptcha to protect the contribution process against automated access, fraud and abuse. hCaptcha may process technical information such as the IP address, browser and device information, the date and time of access and interaction data required to distinguish human visitors from automated requests.
As part of this security check, Cloudflare may set the technically necessary cookie __cf_bm on the domain .hcaptcha.com. This cookie supports bot detection, does not correspond to a user account on our website and expires after approximately 30 minutes of inactivity.
